Dinner Club Policies

  1. Club members will receive an e-mail giving them the opportunity to sign up for a meal before reservations are opened to the general public. One week before the meal, reservations are opened to the general public and dinner club members will no longer have priority.
  2. Paid reservations are required to reserve a seat for a dinner club meal.
  3. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
  4. Anyone making a reservation may reserve any number of seats up to the full compliment of 10 seats for a dinner.
  5. Reservations will be accepted in order based on the time received. Chef Heidi is the sole arbiter of time stamp conflicts and will organize the reservations in the order received across the three options below. Time received will be based on one of the following:
    1. For e-mail reservations - the time and date stamp generated by Chef Heidi's e-mail server;
    2. For calls to Chef Heidi's cell phone - the time and date stamp generated by Chef Heidi's cell phone;
    3. For calls to the phone at the Adequate Snack the time and date stamp generated by the answering machine;
  6. Once all 10 seats have been reserved, individuals will be added to a waiting list in time and date stamp order.
  7. Reservations that are not paid by the deadline specified in the original invitation may be resold to individuals on the waiting list at Chef Heidi's discretion. The unpaid reservations will be offered to the waiting list in date and time stamp order until the table is filled with paid reservations.
  8. Reservations may be paid by credit card, check, or cash.
  9. Dinners with less than 6 paid reservations may be cancelled or rescheduled at Chef Heidi's discretion.
  10. Refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation. Refunds will be issued as necessary to any individual who cannot attend due to rescheduling by Chef Heidi.
  11. Cancellation of a paid reservation must be made at least three (3) days before the dinner to avoid being charged the full price for the dinner
  12. Unless otherwise noted, dinner participants must be 18 or older.
  13. Menus are subject to change due to the availability of seasonal ingredients.
