Chef Heidi Wittenborn comes from a family of great cooks.  Her father always referred to an outstanding meal as an "adequate snack."  She has named her company The Adequate Snack in honor and remembrance of him.  Her mother prepared many of those outstanding meals and taught Heidi the fine art of entertaining and creating a memorable party.

Chef Heidi has built on those family traditions.  She has been catering special events for 25 years.  In July, 2008, she added a degree in culinary arts from the Texas Culinary Academy, a Le Cordon Bleu affiliated school, to her credentials.

Chef Heidi enjoys creating dishes inspired by the world's great cuisines.  Her goal is to prepare each dish with the finest ingredients and infuse it with passion and creativity.  She is constantly looking for new flavors and ingredients to add flair to the dishes she prepares for her clients and create a memorable experience.
